Many parents have acclaimed how The Children's Traffic Club membership books have helped their child develop their language skills and how they have encouraged them to like books in general. Research has shown that The Children's Traffic Club books are particularly welcomed and appreciated in families of low income - often being the first books the child has especially for themselves. Nursery teachers also have an important part to play in young children's lives as they may spend many hours with them throughout the day. A specially designed Nursery & Playgroup Pack has been developed, so valuable road safety messages can be taught in a fun, interactive way, through games, singing and activities carried out daily. For children who are already members of the Club, these packs reinforces what they have learnt at home, for those not members yet it allows them access to the valuable life saving messages and fun activities. The Gym Card Pack can be used alongside the activities in the Nursery & Playgroup Pack or can be used independently. It has been designed to address key aspects of Early Learning - with particular emphasis on Physical Development. Nursery teachers and playgroup leaders can further support The Children's Traffic Club by encouraging parents (who are not already members) to register their child. |
