The Material
Early Steps Pack
This is a new resource developed in consultation with Sure Start and other Early Learning specialists. The material is designed to help families with learning or language difficulties, or where parenting skills need to be emphasised.
Each pack contains:
- A leader's Guide (outlining a range of activities, events and interactions)
- A set of six little 'balloon ' storybooks
- A photocopiable number and alphabet sticker book
- Sets of stickers
- A photocopiable colouring book
- A pack of Traffic Club Snap Cards
- A song and story tape
- An A2 poster
- A pack of 10 balloons
- Simple Information Sheet for parents about the six main road safety issues (produced in 22 different languages with the 5 main languages of the area inserted in the pack).
